EcoDrive Hong Kong and Pinkfonghave joined forces to create a new Baby Shark video, “No Single Use Plastic”, to educate young children about single-use plastic pollution. Single-use plastic pollution is a critical environmental issue. We need to act NOW so that the next generation can live in a safe and sustainable world.
This video promotes making behavioral change, and rethinking the way we look at this virtually indestructible material that is considered “disposable”.
The majority of the marine debris is single-use plastic, and sea life suffers every day. By enlisting the voices of Baby Shark’s ocean friends, we hope that children will have greater compassion, knowledge and be more motivated to care for their environment. It is not only marine animals that are badly affected by single-use plastic pollution, EVERY ONE of us is being affected. Microplastics are in the fish we eat, the air we breathe and the soil where we grow our food. Children and adults alike will learn what we can do to help save our environment through this project. In the “No Single Use Plastic” video, different types of single-use plastics are harming Baby Shark and his friends. They call upon us to help them by using less disposable plastic and to stop littering.
Here is what we need to do:
Refuse – Just say NO! Reduce and Reuse – Bring your Own! Rethink – Let’s be Smart! Take action – Start Small Start Now!
Children's voices are powerful and we hope that, by educating them, they can influence their parents and friends around them.
